We’ve been waiting to share this: our Associate, Maria Bunga Narendra, has just returned from an enriching research visit at UNIDROIT - International Institute for the Unification of Private Law, where she was invited under its prestigious Research Scholarship Programme.

Over the past two months, she had the opportunity to deepen her work alongside global scholars and gain valuable insights from the UNIDROIT community.

During her time there, Bunga focused on the legal recognition and implementation of real estate tokenisation in Indonesia. Her research analyses Indonesia’s existing legal framework, applies the UNIDROIT Principles on Digital Assets, and draws comparative perspectives from several jurisdictions to explore suitable legal designs for real estate–backed tokens.
